Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support the costs of managing the peer review process, professional editing, formatting, and maintaining the open-access nature of the journal, the International Journal of Innovative Technologies in Social Science (IJITSS) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. The APC ensures that all published research remains freely accessible to readers worldwide, promoting the dissemination of knowledge without paywall barriers.
1. APC Details
- The APC for the International Journal of Innovative Technologies in Social Science is 120 USD per accepted manuscript.
- This fee covers all the costs associated with the publication process, including peer review management, professional typesetting, copyediting, and online hosting.
- There are no additional charges for submission, length of the article, or inclusion of figures and tables.
2. Payment Process
- Authors will be notified of the APC upon acceptance of their manuscript.
- Payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, or Bank Transfer, ensuring secure and convenient transactions.
- Bank transfer details will be provided to authors upon request, allowing them to make the payment directly from their bank accounts.
- Upon successful payment, the article will proceed to production, where it will be copyedited, typeset, and published in the upcoming issue.
3. APC Waivers
IJITSS is committed to supporting authors from low-income countries. Waivers may be available to authors from countries classified as low-income by the World Bank. To view the list of eligible countries, please refer to the World Bank country classification here. Authors from these countries are encouraged to contact the editorial office at the time of submission to apply for a waiver.
- Waiver requests must be submitted before the manuscript is accepted for publication. Requests after acceptance will not be considered.
- The editorial office evaluates waiver requests on a case-by-case basis.
4. Open Access Benefits
Paying the APC allows authors to publish their research under the Open Access model, ensuring that:
- Articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication.
- Authors retain copyright of their work, published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
- Research can be shared, distributed, and reused by others with proper attribution, maximizing the impact and visibility of the published work.
