Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • All authors got acquainted with RS Global Editorial Process.
  • The manuscript adheres to the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit high-quality original researchreview articlesclinical case studies, and clinical trials in the fields of Engineering and Medicine to World Science. All submissions must comply with the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process.


1. Manuscript Categories

  • Original Research Articles
    Detailed studies presenting new findings in engineering or medicine. Should include structured sections (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions).
    Length: 3,000–6,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures)

  • Review Articles
    Comprehensive overviews of specific research topics, summarizing current knowledge and identifying future research directions.
    Length: 4,000–8,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures)

  • Clinical Case Studies (Medicine only)
    Reports on unique or rare medical cases that provide insights into diagnosis, treatment, or disease management.
    Length: 1,500–3,000 words

  • Clinical Trials (Medicine only)
    Detailed reports on methodology and outcomes of interventional studies involving human participants. Should follow CONSORT guidelines.
    Length: 3,000–6,000 words

Note: Word counts are recommendations; longer or shorter manuscripts may be considered at the editor’s discretion if scientifically justified.


2. Submission Language

All manuscripts must be submitted in English. Submissions in other languages will not be considered. The titleabstractkeywords, and main text must be written in clear, grammatically correct English. Authors who are not native English speakers are encouraged to seek professional language editing before submission.


3. Manuscript Format

All manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using the following structure:

Title Page

  • Manuscript Title (concise and informative)
  • Author Names and Affiliations (include ORCID if available)
  • Corresponding Author’s Email Address
  • Funding Statement (if applicable)
  • Conflict of Interest Declaration
  • Acknowledgments (if applicable)

Abstract

  • 200–250 words summarizing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Should not contain references or abbreviations.

Keywords

  • 4–6 keywords, separated by commas.

Main Text

  • Introduction
    Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and significance of the study. Provide background information and a concise review of relevant literature to justify the study.

  • Materials and Methods
    Describe the experimental design, materials, data sources, and procedures used in sufficient detail to allow replication. Include ethical approval information if applicable.

  • Results
    Present the findings of the study clearly and logically, using text, tables, and figures as needed. Do not interpret the data here — only report the results.

  • Discussion
    Interpret and analyze the results in relation to the study’s objectives and existing literature. Highlight the implications, strengths, and limitations of the study.

  • Conclusions
    Summarize the key findings and their relevance. Suggest practical applications or future research directions, keeping this section concise and focused.

References

  • Use APA style (7th edition) for all citations and references.
  • Include DOIs for all references where available.
  • Examples:
    • Journal article: Smith, J. A., & Lee, R. T. (2022). Title of article. Journal Name, 12(3), 45–58. https://doi.org/xxxxx
    • Book: Johnson, P. (2019). Title of Book. Publisher.

Figures and Tables

  • Numbered sequentially (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
  • Include captions for all figures and tables.
  • Figures must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Tables should be editable, not embedded as images.

Ethical Considerations

  • Human/Animal Studies: Must include a statement of ethical approval and informed consent.
  • Clinical Trials: Must include the trial registration number.
  • All research must comply with ethical standards and follow the Declaration of Helsinki or equivalent guidelines.

Plagiarism and Originality

  • All submissions are screened for plagiarism using reliable software.
  • Manuscripts must be original and not submitted elsewhere.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

  • The APC is 120 USD payable only upon acceptance of the manuscript.
