ДИКИЕ ФОРМЫ ОВОЩНЫХ КУЛЬТУР В ГОРНЫХ РАЙОНАХ ЗАПАДНОЙ ЗОНЫ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНА
Abstract
Caucasus - one of the centers of origin of many fruit, berry and vegetable plants. Azerbaijan is a part of the Transcaucasia republics also distinguished by its rich natural environment. Here there are 4,500 species of plants, 200 species of which are national and 900 species are endemic to the Caucasus. We have the support of Science Development Fund under the Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted field studies in the western zone of Azerbaijan to establish and identify the geographical area and the practical application of various vegetable plants growing wild in the mountainous and lowland areas of the zone. The description of the wildly growing vegetable plants such as dill, Mate and stepmother, and butene Selderey Caucasus in the highlands of Western Azerbaijan
