Plagiarism Statement

The International Journal of Innovative Technologies in Economy (IJITE) upholds the highest standards of integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. Plagiarism in any form, whether intentional or unintentional, is strictly prohibited. All manuscripts submitted to IJITE must be the original work of the authors and must not contain any copied or improperly attributed content.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text, data, figures, or images from other sources without proper citation.
  • Paraphrasing ideas or text from another work without adequate acknowledgment.
  • Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication, where authors reuse their own previously published work without appropriate citation or permission from the previous publisher.

Plagiarism Detection and Screening

Upon submission, all manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to identify any potential overlap with existing literature. Any manuscript found to contain significant uncredited material will be rejected immediately. In cases of minor overlap, authors may be required to revise their work to ensure full originality and proper citation of sources.

Consequences of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the review or publication process, IJITE will take the following actions based on the severity of the infraction:

  • Rejection of the manuscript and notification to the authors regarding the violation.
  • Retraction of the published article if plagiarism is detected post-publication, with a statement explaining the reason for retraction.
  • Notification to the authors' affiliated institutions in severe cases, which may result in additional institutional actions.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submissions and must appropriately cite all sources. By submitting to IJITE, authors acknowledge that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been published elsewhere in any form without disclosure.

Commitment to Ethical Standards

As a journal dedicated to academic excellence, IJITE follows the guidelines provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to handle plagiarism cases transparently and ethically, ensuring the integrity and credibility of all published content.

This Plagiarism Statement is part of IJITE's commitment to ethical publishing and the advancement of knowledge in the field of technology and economics.
